A wealth of valuable resources are available to graduate students at Michigan State University.

Approximately 60 graduate students are housed in the Department and are evenly split between M.A. and Ph.D. programs. Many of our students are funded either as teaching assistants or research assistants. The interests of our students run the gamut of geography and are focused in geospatial technologies, nature-society studies, physical geography, and urban-economic geography.
