Advising

Geography students at Department event

Meeting with the Geography undergraduate advisor is essential. Students are urged to meet with the advisor regularly and frequently to make sure their programs of study will fulfill graduation requirements. Each student is individually responsible for being aware of, and meeting, all graduation requirements.

Members of the faculty can also be accommodating in planning your academic program. They are exceptionally knowledgeable about their areas of specialization and can provide sound advice and suitable suggestions. Get to know your professors. You will find them friendly and accessible. By consulting the Undergraduate Handbook, the undergraduate advisor, and the faculty, you can be assured of a successful, enjoyable, and excellent education in geography.
