SWIG/Triple G Spring Speaker Event: Dr. Somvilay Chanthalounnavong

We are excited to announce that Supporting Women in Geography (SWIG), with support from Triple-G, will be welcoming Dr. Somvilay Chanthalounnavong from the National University of Laos to speak this Friday, March 29th, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in GEO Room 126.

This event will feature a prepared presentation followed by an informal hour of questions and/or networking with Dr. Somvilay Chanthalounnavong and other faculty and students. A coffee bar and refreshments will be provided!

Dr. Somvilay Chanthalounnavong is a Fullbright fellow visiting researcher at MSU. She has wide international experience and her research focuses on water resources engineering.

This event is open to all staff, faculty, and students. Please feel free to share with anyone in the Geography department or any other department who you think may be interested. We look forward to seeing you there!
