Wed, November 20, 2024 1:00 PM - Wed, November 20, 2024 3:00 PM at DSL Flex Space (Main Library, 2 West)
Drones are important and exciting tools for research, infrastructure and more. Please join the MSU GIS Users Community to learn about drones from a panel discussion in celebration of GIS Day 2024. Robert Goodwin of RSGIS will lead a discussion on drone applications for research and provide an overview of MSU drone regulations. There will be drones on hand and a video demonstrating their operation. The panel speakers include: Assistant Professor of Geography, Environment and Spatial Sciences Erin Bunting and Assistant Professor of Plant and Microbial Sciences Addie Thompson. Refreshments will be served after the panel discussion.
Please spread the word about this event! The more people we have who have knowledge of, or interest in, drones, the better the discussion.
Please register at GIS Day 2024: Drones at MSU - LibCal - Michigan State University Libraries (https://bookings.lib.msu.edu/event/13332628). We hope to see you there!
