I earned a Ph.D. in Planning and Public Policy from Rutgers University in 2021. I am now a postdoctoral fellow for the NSF project “Preparing the Future Workforce for the Era of Automated Vehicles (WEAVE)” in the Department of Geography, Environment, and Spatial Sciences at MSU. Before joining MSU, I was an instructor in GIScience in the Department of Geography at the University of South Carolina. I had worked as an urban planner for seven years before I pursued my Ph.D. degree.
AREA OF STUDY
My research program focuses on social justice in this transformative era. My interdisciplinary research employs large-scale spatiotemporal data and advanced geospatial analytics to address access, health, and environmental inequality related to emerging technologies (e.g., autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence, internet of things) and mobility services (ridesourcing, app-based delivery, micro-mobilities).
