Periglacial geomorphology and hydrology, Arctic geography
RESEARCH SYNOPSIS
My main research interests lie in periglacial geomorphology and permafrost. For my thesis work, I am exploring the influence of nivation and fluvial processes in the development of landforms called cryoplanation terraces on the Juneau Ice Field of British Columbia, Canada. In addition to my thesis research, I am involved in the Circumpolar Active Layer Monitoring (CALM) Program, which is responsible for the long-term monitoring of active layer thickness in Alaska.
