Research Synopsis

My research spans water resources, hydrology, machine learning, remote sensing, and coupled human-natural systems. Leveraging a strong interdisciplinary foundation, I strive to tackle critical water challenges using advanced technologies and innovative approaches. With a Bachelor's degree in Marine Sciences from the China University of Geosciences (Beijing) and a Master's in Earth and Environmental Engineering from Columbia University, I investigate long-term trends in lake water temperatures across the United States using process-guided deep learning models, which integrate physical principles with data-driven methods to enhance predictive accuracy and interpretability.
