RESEARCH SYNOPSIS

Ana Lucrecia is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Geography, Environment, and Spatial Sciences and a recipient of the Michigan State University Enrichment Fellowship. Her research interest is the application of geospatial technology to analyze climate - social interactions in urban settings. Specifically, her work focuses on extreme heat weather events and their relation to demographic, socioeconomic, institutional issues, mitigation, and adaptation strategies through a human-environment lens.
