Climate change and climate variability, extreme event analysis, teleconnections, Human-Environment Interactions, land use/land cover change, food-water-energy nexus, societal impacts of environmental changes, remote sensing, and coupled natural human systems modeling

As a physical geographer whose work is interdisciplinary, my research focuses on combining quantitative methods to examine multi-scalar impacts of global climate and environmental changes on human, food security, energy, water, and natural hazards and disasters. I use remote sensing, models, observational data, fieldwork, geospatial analysis, high-performance computing, and statistical analysis in my research.
