Sara Torres is a master’s student in the Department of Geography at Michigan State University. Her current research seeks to understand how scale and individual values interact with our willingness to perform pro-environmental behaviors.
Previously, Sara completed a master’s in Community Sustainability at Michigan State University and a bachelor’s in Environmental Studies at the University of Colorado – Boulder.
She is passionate about human-environment relationships and curious about variables that drive humans to protect our environment.
Sara also enjoys baking, running, rock climbing, scuba diving, traveling and is a budding amateur photographer.
