Grad Student Wins NSF Award

Congratulations to Cristina Gauthier in attaining a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Award to conduct research regarding dam development in the Amazon Basin. The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees in science and engineering. The GRFP provides three years of support for the graduate education of individuals who have demonstrated their potential for significant achievements in science and engineering.  The ranks of NSF Fellows include numerous individuals who have made transformative breakthroughs in science and engineering research, become leaders in their chosen careers, and been honored as Nobel laureates.
