Registration is now open for onGEO’s upcoming professional GIS certificate courses

The MSU Department of Geography onGEO Group offers a Professional Certificate in GIS, which is earned by completing four fully online core, non-credit courses. Each session is seven weeks and core courses cost just $875 each.
Registration is now open for the next session of onGEO's upcoming professional certificate courses. The session, which begins May 1, will feature three core courses, each of which count toward earning a Professional Certificate in GIS! And, we are pleased to announce that this session we are also offering two of our newest onGEO courses:
- Drones in the Field: Open-source Solutions for Data Collection, Processing, and Analysis, developed in partnership with MSU RS&GIS.
- Geovisualization: Temporal and Interactive Mapping, developed in partnership with Dr. Kyle Redican, Director of the Spatial Analysis Lab at the University of Richmond.
The full line up for Session 323, beginning May 1 will include the following courses:
- Introduction to Geospatial Technologies (Core PC Course)
- Geographic Information Systems (Core PC Course)
- Remote Sensing (Core PC Course)
- Drones in the Field (NEW)
- Criminal Justice Applications in GIS
- FAA Part 107 Drone Test Prep & Beyond
- Geovisualization (NEW)
We are pleased to announce that the lab components for the GIS, Remote Sensing, Cartography, Criminal Justice Applications in GIS, Digital Image Processing, and Geovisualization courses now use ArcGIS Pro.
